hi! i’m karolina (most people call me karo).
I’m a digital creative working across physical and virtual space, with a background in visual culture, research, and experience design. My path began in performance art, visual culture, and digital theory, where I studied how technology shapes perception, environments, and human connection.
Since then, I’ve worked across cultural institutions, university education, and creative tech. I have taught experience design, coordinated interdisciplinary projects, and created containers that connect people, ideas, and spaces.
Today, I’m transitioning into UX and digital product design through Hyper Island’s Upskill program, bringing together research, aesthetics, and spatial thinking. I’m especially drawn to projects at the intersections of physical and digital environments. I thrive when I can help digital tools become part of lived experience rather than separate from it.
Alongside my design work, I run hall.01, a small creative practice for workshops and conceptual projects. This keeps me grounded in embodied experience, presence, and human nuance. I carry these perspectives into everything I build.
I’m currently based in Stockholm and open to junior UX, product design, and digital creative roles.
